Well Sarah and I have decided not to go to Tong. Its too close to Wales to give us time (or Neil) to fix any issues we might create :D:D

So we dont feel so left out we might have a small laning trip. Anyone else interested.

10th November 2013 Start somewhere around Leeds/Bradford area.

No idea where we might go, suggestions welcome :D

Would you be doing any different lanes as both times i have been out with you we have done the same lanes? I would like to do some others around your area :)
That's if i can creep around Deb's to footing the fuel bill that is lol.
Just means i have to be very nice to her on her birthday on 31st this month ;)

Feel free to suggest some, we just want a day out, not wanting anything unknown or extreme 2 weeks before the Wales trip.

You might be better joining a different group this time

Sorry I've not been on for a day, but here's the pics finally.

Great pics Diff

Have you noticed no one has taken pics of the difficult bits (except Deadmans) we are too busy driving. The last time I tried to take pics on a bad bit I went over a huge rock by mistake and clouted the crossmember :D:D

Yep, even on the easy bits I'd got camera shake :).

Have had a crawl underneath the Disco - yes, I did kiss the front axle on the way up from Scar House.. right bang on the bottom centre of the diff! All fine though . Must learn better wheel placement. The other noises were the front crossmember. I say front, but it's angled one behind the engine. If there had been an engine tray under there (none on when I bought it), then the trip would have seen it off! :D

Remember me checking the front nearside wheel after hearing it clout a rock? The rim seems fine, but there's a little chunk of rubber out of the tyre sidewall ;)

:eek: I couldn't see any damage when you mentioned it. I knocked the wheel balancing things of two of mine, and the trailing arms thing of course :D:D

I'm not really a horsey person myself but he is a nice horse with a great character, just needs slowing down abit.We were at the cross country yesterday at epworth and they got a 2nd in the open and about 20th in the intermediate as he was 33 secs to fast:eek::eek:.

Bless him, he was enjoying himself :D:D

But 33 seconds too fast must have made it a very exiting round  Oh and well done for the second :D

Begger! Did the same on mine - the front diff has a guard but the rear hasn't been fitted yet (waiting to get the right bolts). They are worth their weight in gold I reckon! Luckily here too no harm done. By next time I'll have both diff guards and tank guard. And then slightly later new (and slightly larger) tyres - wahoo!

Sorry folks

Was meant to be a gentle trip round the Dales. Scar House must have got a lot worse. I notice a few rock steps appearing but didn't think it was bad enough to cause any damage.:eek::eek:

No worries Sue! Can't speak for Phil, but I'd been up Scar House before (last time on your birthday trip), so didn't think anything about trying again. However, in the scheme of things terrain can and does change quickly sometimes.
