Hi I need some help, my viscous fan shed a few blades and I was wondering if you can buy just the plastic fan or do you have to get the whole viscous fan? Any info appreciated.

take it off and throw it away you dont need it

Take it off and throw it in the back of the car. For if you do need it..

just buy a replacement fan off Ebay

Thanks for the advice, I do need it here New Zealand is a land of hills on steroids and I tow a boat.

Yes you can buy the plastic fan seperately and do please keep the viscous fan on as Land Rovers are designed to have them and just because some people in our cooler climate seem to get away without one there are lots more people who keep them on . Regards Jonathan
