A ANDYCUK Member Jan 31, 2016 #1 Hi guys Trying to remove fan. Bought removal spanner. When to undo it and nut just keeps spinning needed no pressure to loosen nut. Still can't remove fan. Any ideas please Thanks Andy

jamesmartin Well-Known Member Jan 31, 2016 #2 shock spanner with a hammer if that dont work hit each flat of nut in the center with a long flat ended punch in turn eventually nut will unscrew by hand

Brian S Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2016 #9 Job best done with the belt on 300tdi opposite thread but TD5 is normal thread I believe. If the belt is off it makes the job 100x. More difficult.
