Morning Everybody, Just took our Freelander 2.0l td 55reg, out with permission of the hubby.

And the ORANGE ENGINE LIGHT WITH AN ! IN IT FLICKED ON & OFF!!

I also think car went into limp home mode (safe mode).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Also any idea who/where to take this 4x4 in the Norwich area.

Any fault code will normally be stored in memory until they are cleared via a diagnostics computer.

I think it could be a problem with the flux capacitor,make sure you ask the garage about it.

Which type of flux capacitor do these use, the one one my evo was never any bother PMSL

That was the early model mate, the later ones can be set to 13.13 if required.

i reccons its the overhead fuffle valve got a bit of dark matter stuck in the inlet

the **** that gets cought in wormholes dunt arf fook these up

Hi Everybody.

Problem solved.

We had to codes that came up, both relating to fuel pressure.

We found a bare wire on the sensor under the bonnett.

BUT THEN CAR WOULDNT START!

my mechanic checked fuel pump, and it wasnt picking up on the ignition, so he hit it with a hammer!

Car started straight away.
