That part number is for 2002-2009 MY, which as you're finding out, is different to production year. To be fair, the seller shouldn't be saying it's valid for any L322 production year. No you don't - you can also tell you don't as there are only 3 wires connected to the height sensor, on the L322 the sensor has two separate circuits in it, one for the suspension & one for the ARC system so you would have 6 wires connected if you had ARC, later versions have only 3 wires, not 6 and the height values are broadcast on HS-CAN.

It's done!!!!
Bought LR023651 and installed it and then the calibration went through without any problems. I can now raise and lower the car without any problems and it no longer goes into extended mode.
I would like to thank everyone involved who helped me find the solution. Thanks alot !!!!!!
