I'm interested in importing one of these special editions into Canada but we have a 15 year rule so I'd love to know the date range for manufacturing so I'll have an idea when I could buy and arrange to ship one over here. Thanks in advance.

All the ones I have seen on the road, which isnt many as quite rare are 2001 as said above.

Just out of interest, how would the 15 year rule work with a Q plate?

I am probably wrong but I think the when the Q plate is isseued that is the supposed date of make?
So of it was q plated 15 years ago no problem, but country you are importing it into may have issues with it.

Exactly. That's why I was asking. You could get a who,e load of 30 year old parts, bang them together on a Q plate and it would be registered as "new". Not sure how Canada would legislate against it.

don't think so you would be better off just getting parts, and put them into a sea container and assemble in Canada.

My Tomb Raider 90 is a 51 plate which if you're not well known to British plates is after September 2001 until end of March 2002 I believe. And my vehicle was registered in 2002 according to docs.
