Cor Blimey Stu, look like you should have just started a new body shell from scratch :)

Gonna try Tax my 80" today, bloomin .gov site says it needs an MOT, you would have thought it would have been updated for the pre 1960 motors, mine clearly states 1 Mar 1952 on the V5.

Just in case I am going armed with a V112 MOT exemption form to do battle with the poor chappy sat in his cubicle.

Got my EFI bits ready, unexpected cost thanks to mousy. Bit of rewiring on few other bits and should be good.

How hot does the air intake bits get? I only ask as I wanted to smarten it up and wondered if I need high heat of just use normal paint:confused:

That VHT exhaust spray paints only a fiver a can stu, has done well on my petrol exhausts for over 12 month now ,

Got my panels finished tonight and ready to go in, got some pics but phone playing up so will post them another day. It's looking good now though, I can see the end of the welding, just some filling and prepping before painting.

Not looking forward to the engine swap though, hopefully will go well. only time will tell...
