It wasn't me.

Can always blaze a bit of weld over that dodgy bit when we fit the A&B post bottoms.

I know - it looks like stick welding.. Good that I found it tho :)

No, this is what stick welding looks like ;)

2.5mm 6011 on 70 amps and blaze away :D

Just ordered some new 2mm & 2.5mm 6013, I'd like to try some fleetweld to see what they weld like but ideally I would need a DC inverter not my AC buzz box lol

A few pics from last night and today..... little steps, but moving forward

Wondered what it all looked like from underneath :)

That will grind up fab and we'll be able to crack on with a good bit more next week.

Is it worth sticking another hole in the seatbelt mount area and is the one (undrilled) at the back ok for position, or would it be better closer to the Roll cage?

A couple of those holes are right on the inner edge of the sill section.

I would say drill the one inside the seatbelt mount and the last one marked at the back, the rest of the floor will be welded in when we tackle the rollcage.

I did find out that watch glass doesnt like either being on the receiving end of grinding sparks or shot-blasting media .

I was going to shot blast the outside bulkhead repair, but will wait till the welding is completed on the repair first.

gardening :D
watch isnt destroyed - just a tad opaque ;)

welding the outside of that bulkhead is a bit tricky to get to.

it appears the D1 and D2 slam panels are both, nominally, the same width - 154cm ;)

ere @dieseldog69 - what do you think of splitting the B post repair section in two, from top to bottom to enable it to fit betterer?

The only good reason to wear a cheap plasticky Casio type watch ... you clean it under the tap ...
