I might have to use wedges or leave it till we (:))) weld it, as it needs to be in that position until welded and sill & Bulkhead fitted.

I think it'll need jacked up at that floor cross member to weld the floor sections and then the A&B posts jacked up to weld in the box section sill, if we can relieve the pressure off the sill and floor then hopefully it will all weld in square.

How did you get on with the blasting and de-rusting of the floor section?

gotta make that stiffener too.

I assume all suggestions are welcome?

NS Floor stiffener in place... It can be seen that, because the stiffener was not in place before this panel was welded in, there are an assortment of non-uniform gaps between the floor and stiffener :(

and the floor height adjustment :). by packing the top of the chassis under the bolt with a 1/2" steel spacer, I can raise and lower the floor by adjusting the screw.

"Stress"?? cracking of NS Bulkhead body mount

@dieseldog69
I think it is obvious what the problem is with the NS sill alignment......

Following pics show that the A & B posts are vertical, but the Sill is cocked in at the bottom, as we thought......

I wonder if anyone has a big azz set of Stilsons with jaws +60mm?

Would be able to get a good purchase and if they were say 18" plus we'd get sensible leverage on it too :)

Nice, looking good there MHM, I recon we'll be welding on Friday :)

Did you trim off a bit of that inner strengthening plate so I can fit a bigger piece to cover that crack and some?
