blimey, you've been busy there.

Hope I've done the right thing getting an OEM pump, Rimmers had 3, a really cheap aftermarket, an OEM and an original...... went for the OEM.

Not looking forward to it too much, some people have a nightmare doing it, others get it done in no time, we shall see.

im very restricted after a back injury so things take me a while , other jobs i have to wait until i get my son round to do the things I cant

it's going towards 180,000 miles and do the oil changes etc every year , including the auto box

with the synergy it pulls like a train, autobox very smooth and gets on a run 40 mpg

I did the right thing in buying an oem one , the others seem to fail prematurely

it's getting the plastic clips out, I had to buy some as i broke them getting them out

just know what it's like in trying to do things the first time, how they come apart

have always helped members where I could , can't get underneath cars but made it a day , had a laugh along the way , plenty of tea and got the cars done

guided someone with the auto box oil change as the garage had really screwed it up and also fitted the synergy , sorted out the srs light and found this forum a friendly one

nice that if u get stuck there's always someone to help and keeping the costs down by keeping away from dealers, lol

by the way are u going to the lz event

Guys, on a related theme. I'm probably going to get a Synergy in the next couple of months, with one of his dash switches, what routes are there for running the cable into the cabin?

There is a grommet up near the right hand side of the pedal box - it takes the cable for the bonnet release - its a fiddle but worth it.

I didn't realise that , i sneaked mine through the hole where the clutch is supposed to be as mines an auto

, never attempted the other side of underneath the fuse box route , looked a nightmare to get through

was a right result in finding the inch sized hole where the clutch pedal was

always good to know where all the routes are , lol

reminds me I think I may have to get a new bonnet cable as I don't trustbthe old one, meets hard to pull sometimes and always worried it's going to snap , as God knows how u get round that
