I drove it about 10 days ago. The waterhole at the gate end was a bit bumpy and the Landy leaned a bit away from the tree side. The mud hole at the Steppingly end was as per normal, but a lot of people had driven around it and churned the side of it up a bit. Apart from that it was how it's always been.
the Gate was closed.
What's different?

I think that any damage could only be very localised, to either end of the lane. At the top where the water is has the potential for damage. At the other end, if vehicles limited themselves to driving through the mudhole only, the damage where people have driven around it wouldn't occur. The mud hole is so tame, even a Gaylander on road tyres could manage it.

i was up that lane other day caugh a couple enjoying the cold air (she had her mouth full) there has always been a kinda water hole both ends of the track the local farm at the steppingly end ive seen em going shooting around that end so maybe thats the cause but at the other end i see that ppl try climb that bank right next to the gate and that small little (own routes) have been appearing. i dunno why they go round the water it aint that bad my mates frontera went through it in 2wd
