Proper getting there now mate, the beer should be mopped up with a special order from Dominoes, you deserve it :)
About to go for an Indian :) yeah cheers feels like it is now. That rear bit annoyed me but I know now to just leave things like that n come back. Isn't going anywhere. It's the wriggling underneath and holding yourself up with your core that's the hardest bit of all. I've entered a new area of the chassis now as hadn't visited trailing arm brackets yet haha. I really hope the front isn't as bad as the rear lol

Cheers Chris. I don't have any acros unfortunately and don't really know any builders. Don't think they come too cheap. I could run a 6fter through the windows with a couple legs either end though

You can borrow mine if you want to. If you can pick them up .

Open to opinions but discovered today that there are 2mm plates behind the outer vent surround these are to support the bonnet brackets pictured. I'm thinking I'll very carefully cut along my vent tie in line (the gutter), removing the skin but leaving the 2mm in place. I'll then somehow tie the 2mm back in to the inner bulkhead. Surely someone has come across this before?

Patience, g clamps and a rubber mallet were the key today. Looks like I'm just about lining up. Despite keeping a 5mm plate clamped to my work area I still warped the metal and had to clamp and beat and fiddle to get straight. I'll test fit against the windscreen and doors once I've tacked. If I'm out I'll just break the tasks then.

I've been on both whilst it's been like this. Thought I'd be freezing but the yoga poses to get to the underneath bits had me sweating lol. I'm trying to catch you up haha
Yoga (((snigger))) :p

I'm just waiting for a day that it's not pizzing rain or blowing a gale :(

I will be working on both these come rain or shine as if I'm rained off the disco I can get on defender. I will also be working my arse off at work so that I can go down to the farms neighbour and make an offer for their s3 pickup haha

There are landies everywhere around the sticks near me. I'm yet to hear locally of any fenders going missing. Tis a lovely place to live and I still don't take it for granted after living in digs in hell holes for years lol
