Also changed the engine oil tonight.

Tomorrow it road testing/tuning again I think, got to get some data for Nige@Megasquirt :D

In case you are wondering, there was beverages on duty tonight, but in picture 2 there is actually a pot of chicken & sweetcorn soup from the Chinese next door, in between slurps.

Nearly dropped the insulating tape in it.

Nightmare

They are for use when recovering/generally in a hazardous position.

Won't be used that often but just part of the rewire job and I do think they will be handy.

Not for use when parked outside the chippy :D

I remember when I lived next door to a chinky. Man I got fat.....in fact I still am apparently lol

Nice install there buddy, keep the piccys coming

So is your bonnet totally detachable? Envious of the garage space

Yup, gotta watch out, the amount of salt & grease in their food is unreal!!

Pics will always follow as usual :)

AND yes the bonnet is either fully on or fully off but I have kept the bonnet stay so that I can support it like normal when necessary, pit stops etc :p beciaeenit just rests on the scuttle panel.

And yes the garage is awesome, very lucky but perks of the job I guess

Cheers :)

God damn - I wish I had indoors to work on mine, I nearly got frostbite taking the headlights out of mine today.

Yeah I know that feeling, it was soo cold the other week when I did my fluids, it took almost 30mins just to fill the gearbox as the ATF was that thick

Last night I spent the evening putting MattBaxter engine together in his workshop/garage, in a tee shirt lol

Descent lamp there mate. Plus you can see outside too.

Not sure how to fix some to the exterior though. It's not so bad if you have a roof rack as that would protect them but when the roof is standard, mhaving them just plopped on top isn't nice. Yours is a good solution. Aufweidesen has his in the spare wheel holder which is really cool.

Yeah that spare wheel work is very nice :)

as you say ian, difficult to fit to the outside becuase it would get immediately removed.

we figured that if there was any work going on then the door would be open so its cool, bit cheesed off about the crinkles in the roof liner but hey ho you cant win em all and cant see them in the daylight :)
