Question I've wanted to ask about the 33's, whats it like for articulation? I want to fit a set to a Disco when I get one again but worried I'll foul the arches. I assume you haven't got a body lift on yours.
don't get probs with articulation on mine with 35s on:)

I badly WANT to body lift just like I badly WANT 35s but just cba with something that's not strictly necessary for me.

Maybe I will after I chrome the chassis...

if u look at this pic with the old bumper on the right hand side was lifted and left side wasn't you can see the sort of gap your left with between bumper and lights..

when new bumper was fitted new mounts were welded on to lift it higher

So, decided today to have a little spring clean because the car is full of ****.

Gonna get a good wash inside and out and under and then clean up my kit before it goes back in.

And that got me thinking about the huge weight of kit that I must carry:

Not got a scales handy but I bet the car would be SO much more capable off road without all this gear.

I REALLY struggle at pnp on big hills, it just runs out of grip because its such a dead weight.

Must empty it one day and go for a play.

Will probably break a cv joint when I leave all my spares at home

Cheers!

Heh, it goes in cycles mate .. mine's the same, usually so full of **** that when I need to take stuff to the tip or go shopping, it's easier to just stick a trailer on!

What I really need to do is organise my stuff better. Screwdrivers with socket set, saw with axe, sorta thing, instead of having to take everything out to get to something that compliments the first thing .. ;) If I did this it'd probably remove a need for half the stuff!!!

That's a lot of **** Sam, where do you put the beer :D

I've been looking at designing some modular storage for mine, so it keeps relevant bits together and I can easily remove anything I don't need easily.

for cheap easy tool storage B&Poo are doing soft tool rolls for a fiver each I have two and use em for all me screwdrivers spanners, socket (on a carrier) etc etc.

Then when ya need a tool just unroll and there they are. and been Canvas they don't rattle like they did when I had em in an ammo box.

this is what I bought.

that is indeed true paul, was chatting with my mate about a storage system yesterday.

as you know when we go laning its not a case of who's got what we need, its who'se got what we need most accessible!

mine is fairly organised i suppose but nothing is really accessible without taking everything else out!!

beer get shoved in on the right of the spare wheel, opposite side to the exhaust :D

disco storage is something that requires some fettle, may put some attention towards it!
