Those strobes are smart. How much did they cost altogether? I'm after some oranges for mine and want something that doesn't add any height.

I'd even pay for you to wire done in identical to yours.

Ok in order!

Screenwash heater: https://www.europaspares.com/produc...OMPONENTS/Screenwash_Heater_Unit___hnwk_.html

Strobes cost around £150 I think, can't remember exactly but pretty sure it was.

Rob, I can advise and/or would love to help but I am fairly busy at all times!

Regards the headlamp wash, yes have already looked at this but of course it would empty the reservoir pretty quickly, that will be the stage 2 mod :D

Cool. Was it ledlightbars.co.uk you used? I can't seem to find any identical lights on there. A good flashing beacon is roughly similar cost but I like the look of the strobes.

Really nice bloke in chorley! You can collect and he'll do you a deal!

Send me a pm with your email address and I'll email you his pricelist so you can have a rummage :)

Cheers!

got this on the 109, with the exception of a short lenght of brakepipe cable tied to the wiper arm. 1mm holes drilled pointing to the screen, gives water jets all the way across.
been there years!

Yeah was originally planning to block up the end of the 6mm hose and then drill holes in it but then thought of the axle breathers I had spare and my mind started racing :p

Am quite keen to see how this works, it could be brilliant though it's crudity :D

Cheers!! :D

looks pretty good, would the water in tube on arm not fraaze though? meaning the heat exchanger useless?

Yeah it definitely would if I wasn't using enough screenwash concentrate, but that was always the case with the jets anyway.

This is a work in progress but with a strong enough antifreeze soln. it should be reet!

The heat exchanger is there to warm the fluid to increase the effectiveness of the wash, not for any kind of freeze protection!

Cheers :)

tried this originally, found it really effective at clearing a 2" wipe where the tube ended.
might be different with decent disco wipers, mine is on a series!

Strobes and washers look very good Sam!!!
I take it with that amount of water flow that you are installing a 2nd washer fluid tank connected via a pipe to the 1st tank - to double the capacity??
