I've just bought a series 3 station wagon 109 to fix up, but I am not going to use the engine.
It runs sweetly. I may also sell the gearbox with fairey overdrive, fairey hubs and axles.
Not sure on what the bits are worth.
I'm in Cambridge btw.

Shame on you sir. Sweet setup with a 3.5 in a 109. Why change it?

I'm going to use the 109 as a daily drive and fuel consumption is the only reason I'm going to fit a diesel.

I need a good chassis if any one has one spare.

I've sold it to rangietim,but no money has changed hands yet.
If he does not pick it up and the sale falls through I will let you know.
