Im Here!!!! , still getting fixed , garage owner seems to take on large volumes of work and has trouble meeting demand but I still have faith , the reason im not on forum at the moment is that theres nothing to report , dont want to be posting "still nothing" everyday , its frustrating enough as it is , but dont worry ill be back as soon as I know further .Thanks guys , , havent lost faith dont worry.

Nearly there. What an odyssey getting the engine done. Good luck with your landy back on the road. If it didn't leak that wouldn't be right .

wheel cylinders fixed , 1 job left , slight bit of advice needed and then ill leave you all alone , heater valve under bonnet is squirting like a fountain , ive turned it to cold so it has stopped so im assuming it wont come up on mot.
I can get a replacement easy , however , 2 questions , any advice re removing it? not convinced that it is going to turn easily , also have read other thread that says that you need a collapsible washer with new one , are these just ava from plumbers merchant or can I use standard washer , reason for this is apparently if you dont use a washer the valve opening doesnt turn to face cab and falls short.

Thanks

hiya mate ,no not MOT stuff,i used a plumbers fibre washer, and well done ,in time for summer[/Q
Thanks Steve, ive already spent £700 this week so advice was a godsend , how much are fibre washers 20p?
ill get Mot done first f(fingers crossed) and worry about valve later but good advice thanks, lets just hope valve comes off rather than snaps off
