Fitted fuse boxes and light switch tonight, ready to get started . will fit the new choke cable last.
Now please excuse me as I am getting confused as the 2 main dials on my panel are the opposite way to diagram, if you get what I mean in pics. am finding it hard to follow this way.
Trying to get what goes where.

I would use the same wire .size as loom as most of the wiring is using the wires from the loom just a matter of diverting their route ,the wiring for the gauges is present the fan heater , the flasher unit etc .
the wiring to the head light horn would be wired to your new indicator/headlight/horn column switch you will have redundant wires routed to where the junction box was such a blue that when to the floor mounted dip switch
this can be removed and the wire used to feed your new column switch, the same with the horn wiring to junction can now go to you column switch .
the same applies to the main and dipped wires going to the old junction box position but check their rout before chopping any wires off.
you may have to fit some bullet connectors
or connector you prefer shown on circuit diagram highlighted in light blue so

Thats Great Mate was just thinking about that today.
Steve 2286w came up today to give me a hand, Thanks very Much Steve was loveley to meet you Mate.
Anyway we managed to get heater switch, wiper switch panel light and fuel gauge working so pleased with that. could only use the Ignition fuse box to 2 on barrel , there was no power on Aux box for some reason on to switch 5 on barrel but I tried it on switch 4 before leaving tonight and there is power from there, Can I use 4 instead ?

There is only 2 turns on key, first turns on, then second will fire up engine then spring back, then 1 turn back to turn engine off if you know what I mean.

that the same as the one fitted to my series 1 it does not self cancel and you will have to modify the column diameter to fit it

The heavy duty stalk I have has no self cancelling on it , not sure what you mean by modifying the column
