oy be thinkin!!

Nor me, but I know Dopey buys dodgy cheap stuff off eBay (Lift pumps) lol. Maybe they are recons?

That chipped piston one is foiced, only seen the yellow gasket ones. Got to all be smooth an clean clean going back together. Little bit of wet and dry on piston maybe.

You look at the Reid valves, find anything?

Reid valve seemed fine, the piston and the seal on the other hand!!!!

Well put it this way...... I have or will be, having 5 off them now, and they returned my £££ so its not cost me a thing... lol

I'm keeping the recent pair for the up and coming off roading weekend in June. 3 days of breaking bits!!

Nice. There seem to be some P38 clubs in France. 996turbo put up some great videos when he used to visit. Had his own off-road kit on a site called Ranger Rover Evolution. Guess he might have a newer model now?

Hope it’s not this one :p:p:eek::eek:

Is the davp38 on YouTube the member on here of same name?

No, he's in France. Bit torn about that example. I can see why he did it but it was a nice example.

Don't know about davp38. Likely, I guess.

I think it’s terrible. I have gigantic wheels and coils so that’s saying something but mine looks standardish to a non-whatever we are?

I do respect the fact he has made loads of videos of him using his P38 for years. He’s obviously done his own thing and had great enjoyment from it, probably more than most would appreciate what they had when it was standard vehicle. He actually loves it so I can sympathise there

There are many off road clubs here in France, a friend with a Defender has just joined the one that I think Froghopper belongs to.

If the flange goes I think it comes out the outlet. There are 2 sets of Reed valves in there with o-rings that go. Not seen pump like that before, TallpaulB bought a monster one but not seen him since

This is well worth the watch - only recently found out about this guy he’s good

Also found out that I should be able (in theory) to fabricate parts to put EAS back on my P38 fully functional whilst keeping my 2” lift at all heights. Will take some doing but I would love to do it in future

My monster EAS pump worked really well, unfortunately my head gasket went and my front prop shaft broke within a week of each other so I've had enough of P38's. Sold it for what I bought it for and bought a 2007 L322 instead.
