If it is sat at access and the lamp for standard is flashing but nothing happens it has no air plain and simple.

New pump on his not so long ago. If that is true it must be a leak somewhere.

Isn't the EAS frozen with the brakes on?

I dont know how to test that???

I have a pressure guage on my reservoir line, that's how we found Gorsky's leak. We swapped it to his while mine was off the road. Checked it evening and then morning and pressure was dropping.

I just got the new air pump from my shed.... its the wrong one lol I think the one they sent is for a BMW x5, or something like that anyway!!!

Yes for around two minutes if the brake is kept pressed, after that it returns to normal operation. Each time the car stops or speed drops below 1 mph both front valves open to equalise the pressure across the front axle. That is why it is important to have the bit count on the front as close as possible side to side. Otherwise you get a sort of dance in stop start traffic as the front drops a little then rises again..

On the pump, at the inlet, it seems to be blowing air out, and not sucking it in (slightly) but its working, but is that something to do with the reid valve?

If the flange goes I think it comes out the outlet. There are 2 sets of Reed valves in there with o-rings that go. Not seen pump like that before, TallpaulB bought a monster one but not seen him since
Sourced myself a new compressor to replace the standard one. It's ever so slightly beefier than stock. Not sure how / where I'm going to mount it yet mind.....

This is well worth the watch - only recently found out about this guy he’s good

Also found out that I should be able (in theory) to fabricate parts to put EAS back on my P38 fully functional whilst keeping my 2” lift at all heights. Will take some doing but I would love to do it in future

Arnott 3 air springs allow greater lift but you need new shocks and to extend the height sensor arms. They cost a ****ING fortune though.

Well I have had to set up my series 2 to get me to work, been sat for about 2+ years across the road.... seriously, it started up first time!!! my son cant get to the prop, its way too low to the ground, I will have to sort the air out first to get it up, and then do the UJ. if its the reid it might be a fix I dont know, but I think I might have another compressor?? I will see on Wednesday, seems to be all conspiring against me right now

I already have extended shocks. I’d need Arnott 3s, Fabricate spacers/bump stops and longer height sensors. Rebuild my valve block, new compressor mine was binned, probably few connectors and EAS software to recalibrate.

@Dopey you can get to the UJ under the bonnet if it’s low and you stand on a crate. It will be a potch but you can reach it. Depends how much of racing snake he is?

Sent the old pump off back to them (still under guarantee) and that wrong one, so I am hoping they send me 2 new ones now

The only other gasket is the pump cap to pump head seal?
Unless someone has bodged it dopey?

No this isn't an original one, its from miessler automotive I think they make them in china? they are not built the same at all, I got the piston out of an original one just now, and was going to swap it over, the German one has extra bits in and other bits missing, you cant even get the piston out to change it, look at these pics of where the piston has been smashing against the head, there's all swarf inside as well, its a right bloody mess
