Looks very good so far. So much galvanising and yellow paint! It's great when the wheels go on - it starts looking like a Land Rover again.

Looking good Gatso, Love the colour scheme, Goes well together.
Always a mile stone when you get it into a rolling chassis :)

Cheers guys slow running now till new year cash is flowing to Santa now and not for my lanny 😢😢

lol i love the no oils tags, its surprising how easy it is to use the thing dry and ruin it.
Been there. Got distracted during an oil change and wondered why the oil light never went out. Sussed it after a couple of secs so no damage done. BTW. That really is becoming a work of ark. Beautiful to look out. keep photos coming thick and fast.

well ,new year is here ,so HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL ...so have been given a 300tdi engine and r380 box both in need of repair ,box allegedly has a noisy 5th gear ,,and the engine cooked the head ,so knowing head to be fubar i striped the engine today ,sorry no piccys ,just oil n sh1t anyway ,will post piccys etc when rebuild starts ,so block is in boot of my daily driver, off for re-bore to 20th (hopefully) engine is from a late ie last of the 300 tdi anniversary edition discovery's,, so expecting a struggle after the engine has done 130k turns out it had been maintained exceptionally well sump no rot wax-oiled to death ,front pulley came off once nut was removed with a slight tap of a hide hammer ,cam belt lower pulley slid off wow ,all lubed and cared for happy days ,,and the best thing is crank and pistons are all on standards with no crank scoring of any sort looks like a well serviced engine ,,good base for re-bore ,rebuild ,will be fitting a new head ,and turbo core as a matter of coarse so pictures when i get bits together to start build regards GATSO:clap2::D
