you also need to factor into account that peeps are being conned into buying so called green cars when they allready have a perfectly usable vehicle, this demand for new vehicles yet again adds to the overall impact
Also guilty of fueling this ever increasing demand/hype are those who buy green simply so that they can be seen to be doing the right thing - i suspect the OP falls into this category of gullible buyers
I completely agree with you there Sean, this whole business of buying new every year or buying the latest 'whatever', is solely about making money for others and has nothing whatsoever to do with the environment.
But that's like saying that the high price of fuel at the pumps is all related to the price per barrel of oil - what utter cods wallop !!!!!
We all know we are being conned every day by the media, business, government etc - that's just part of this wonderful modern-day life that most of us lead !!!!
Anyway, from the viewpoint of company cars, do we think that overt 4x4's like Disco3 will generate a negative impression in people's minds?
