Re-adjusted the brakes and clutch bit awkward to test the brakes in the drive but think i've cracked them but will see once it goes in for its MOT.

Just looked back, j is 71 I think? Either way you're well over the 40 years so mot exempt

Just finally got round to fitting the cubby box in place as with doing everything else i didn't get chance, will post pic's tomorrow

@cornish rattler.

I have to say I have been following your progress and you have done a fantastic job, must be MOT check time soon, don’t see you having any issues, think the tester will take 1 look at it and say it’s good:)

only question is have you put your seat belt catches on wrong?
It looks to me that if you plug in the belt, it then covers the button to unlatch it not good in event of an accident or needing to get out in a hurry.

You should be proud of what you have done:D

Some do and some bolt to the rear bulkhead as the brackets bolt through the rear floor to a plate, but yeah I will look into that as the eyelet to the bulkhead is bolted in the right way round but as you say the buckles are wrong so I will have a look tomorrow as i'm not happy with them myself :(

They look ok there Graham, hope it passes without any problems and gives you a week to sort the time consuming bits out.
I always throw my new builds up and down the road a few time to bed things in like brakes and suspension and then when MOTed i thrash it up the dry river bed to
the pidgeon tower at Rivington it either kills it or cures it...

I've been going up there for 35 years and seen a lot of changes in that time with damage done by lesser 4x4 users and hardcore idiots alike...
If you mean the last climb over the concrete pipe ? I have no problem at all in a 90...:cool:

#hardcore

The old Bedford ice cream van manages it anorl :p

Sorry the MOT won't be done this Saturday as planned as Son will be and has been working away all week this week and with a couple of electrics to sort out ( lights ) they will be sorted over the weekend now as he is better at the electric's than me and will be MOT'd the following Saturday instead :(

As it’s MOT exempt, don’t mean you can’t drive up and down the road to give a little smile/small shakedown:)
Does it?

J
