I presume the fuel supply connection to rail on N/S was not strained when you removed box, i presume you had to angle engine downwards to remove box,
 
There wasn't much of a drop around the back of the engine. The gearbox could be moved back then dropped down and moved back in stages on the jack and skateboard

The leak trail was there before we got the engine restarted so must have been doing it for a while. Where the fuel has evaporated you can see the residue all round that area.

LR050951(updates MYX000050) is the P/N £3.53 incl Vat (No UK stock) each X 16 (both the same each end of injector) if we pull the injectors to examine.

Not too worried right now, main thing is to get everything done needed to run it which is correct GB oil level and put the nut behind the steering wheel ;)

where are the wiring diagrams for L322? I'm talking about the old style line drawings.

Trying to trace a 2 pin plug same type as the water temp sensor on thermostat housing??, doesn't seem to fit anywhere, so maybe a diagnostic or unused on European models?

I have them in my copy of RAVE that covers the L322, not that easy to follow though.

This is the one we are looking for, i've checked and there is one plugged into the thermostat housing, the green arrow shows the rubber boot where it comes out of

Phil is that picture from an M62 V8?

If someone has removed this would the consequences be too much vacuum and cause vacuum lines to squish shut?

we noticed that the servo pipe was almost sucked flat.
 
The photo is of my 2003 4.4 V8.

The valve is part of the secondary air injection system to get the cats to light off quickly on a cold engine start (for emission regs.). It only operates for a maximum of a couple of minutes and then only if the engine coolant temperature is below 75 deg. C when the engine is started.

So do you have the rest of the components of the SAI system shown in the diagram? Have you had an lpg conversion?
