Right I went to see the owner of the campsite yesterday.

Camping will cost £9 per pitch per night. (£4.50pppn) I can get the price of this down depending on what people want to do about food arrangements.

The pub can put on an ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ with steak, burgers, chicken, sausages and salad etc (I will have exact details about what would be on the menu when she e-mails the menu to me) £10 per head????

Or there is the option of having a pub meal @ £6 each (menu tbc)

A full brekky will cost £6

That's the pub options which will lower the cost of the site fees or......

I can get bacon cheap from someone I know so could arrange our own bacon butties (few quid each), just need a means of cooking a few pigs worth of bacon :rolleyes;

I've also thought I could sort something simple for 1 of the nights like pie n peas/gravy? (cheaper then £5 each which she suggested)

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome :D

Once I get more of an ideas what people would want I'll get freddy to put it on the spreadsheet.

.......

Is that £9 per pitch per night = to 1 person in one tent? and then £4.50 per additional person in the same tent or what?
I know I am simple but I is a bit cofnesud

Is a pitch the same if it's a pikey wagon a tent or sleepin the vehicle ?

Also I have added a page the spreadsheet for 'Camping and Food'

Speaking for myself...i'd sort myself out on the friday night food wise... But sat night after a day laning a bbq sounds good that someone else has to cook. The saturday and sunday morning sounds perfect for bacon rolls that we do en mass ourselves :)

For the pitch one tent/vehicle upto 4 people, pikey wagon will be £13

Spot on, no idea what time Friday most people will be there, so a mass spread would probably not be viable. Sat morning sort ourselves out, even if it's a pub brekkie, but ready for early start to the lanes. Saturday night big barbie/gazebo/marguee/meet and greet 'do', sunday, relaxing brekkie, depending on where you sleep or who you sleep with .. ;)

That's what I'd like anyway .. ;)

I'm with 110.
Friday eve, I sort me self out.
Sat eve, a BBQ and some beer around a fire (do you know if we can have a fire)
Breakfast, if I can I'll be in 'lightweight mode' in a B&B if I'm camping bacon buttys sound good.

So i just need to find 3 other( small) LZ members to spend the night in the back of the 110 with me and split the £9..... And it'll be an absolute bargin :D

Not only a bargain but quite fun too I should think.. ;)

PS. dont be so heightest "find 3 other( small)"

Yes fires allowed. Quite a big 1 can be had in the centre of the field/gently sloping hill ;)

The idea of coming back from a days laning to a big BBQ cooked by someone else appealed to me the most too ;)
