Mind, so is the wife, and she'd probably have to be with me.

Not really as the price is worked on each motor having a pitch. Minus the ones in b&bs. £9 pn aint a lot  If everyone goes for the BBQ which could mean cheaper camping if your a tight arse of more for the charity pot......

Was actually joking about sharin ya know

on a more serious note tho...i am startin to feel a little oversensitive at the general tight arse comments flyin about ( & i dont mean just you today craigyb)... And that somehow if we express concern or question we are somehow terrible people not wanting to support the charity.

Please just have an awareness of others financial circumstances. So far this trip will cost me a minimum of £153 & thats not food for friday or breakfasts for two days or alcohol. I make a choice that i will pay this because i want to but it will take some doing...as do my other laning trips.

We have no idea how others live or the financial pressures on them and making jibes all the time and little digs does nothing to enhance our feeling better about the situation....and theres been a few in this thread already and likewise the chippy run

Like i said i know i'm over sensitive to it but i think others could do with developing more sensitivity and understanding. Making comments and then implying theyre a joke with an emoticon doesnt ease the dig.

And really really thats not aimed at just one person :)

Chill woman!

It was a joke that was taken the wrong way.

No doubt the trip will cost others more but everyone has the choice to go or not.

Yes fires allowed. Quite a big 1 can be had in the centre of the field/gently sloping hill ;)

The idea of coming back from a days laning to a big BBQ cooked by someone else appealed to me the most too ;)

Will we be allowed/want to put up a large tarp/party venue?

Please lets not get into the money stuff again, everyones situation is different, for some its an issue that they'll find a way around for some it isn't

Fecked off with money, bankers, shareholders, greed.....

Dunno why everything can't just be zeroed and start afresh tbh

Yes we are allowed. Does that mean you will be bringing yours?

Got a small Honda generator. We use it on caravan rallies for sound and light and a couple of TV's .. ;)

Spot on, no idea what time Friday most people will be there, so a mass spread would probably not be viable. Sat morning sort ourselves out, even if it's a pub brekkie, but ready for early start to the lanes. Saturday night big barbie/gazebo/marguee/meet and greet 'do', sunday, relaxing brekkie, depending on where you sleep or who you sleep with .. ;)

That's what I'd like anyway .. ;)

thats the nort way:D
