well due to only two of us going out for this weekend will be canceling it in favor of probably doing it in the kids summer hols if i get a chance. i might still do something on sunday.

Time to stop lurking. :D

I'm just wondering how you intend to pass this hole in the wall, which is less than half way across this trail and not wide enough for any 4x4? Not that it looks like you've got this far yet.

I've PMed you the coordinates of the photo to help and confirm we are talking about the same lane.

i,ve just double checked my maps and the map the highway department gave me of legal tracks & once were out the woods after the climb. we stay out of the woods open land all the way to our finish point. plus just been up with dogs and the handheld gps far as i can see we go no where near that point you have the photo off. and as i said the glass rep who was with us would have picked up on that.

I walked the track on 28/06/15 and recorded it using viewranger and took photos along the way (including the one I posted). You will note the motorcycle tracks between the stone posts.

If can you confirm the track is the one I have PMed you then this gate hole in the wall is there and I'm more than happy to meet up and walk it with you now if you wish (will take me 40 minutes to get there). Not much further along the track where the woodland ends is wooden gate in a fence that also isn't wide enough for any 4x4 (featured at 36:15 in this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0miaXFxcfkA).

I'm not being difficult. As a fellow green laner I'm just curious to know how you guys intended to make it all the way across this track and avoid these obstacles.

we'll see i sent you a pm there are several off piste issue's with dirtbike vid you've quoted i'll forward all your concerns to the glass rep who attended

Agreed with the off piste issue with the bikers and I'm chatting with the North Wales TRF rep about it directly.

Is the track I PMed you correct?
