Unfortunately not Sam had to head home today. Shame would have been nice to have seen another series out for a change!

You will have fun I had to be pulled out a couple of times because it got beached but being smaller than the discos was definitely an advantage damage wise.
Got away with a small dent in the wing and a bashed sill :D
 
Thanks for offer of the Diff Sam but beer and a Chinese banquet seemed preferable last night.

I didnt even start :D Was a bit tough for my series (its bog standard) so went off and explored a couple of tracks used by the forestry commission. Will put up a few pics in a bit
 
It is a very damaging lane there's no disputing that I think I was the only one not to damage the body work of thier car yesterday.
 
Just got back, thanks guys for a great weekend, both days good and good company, but after the rain then snow on Sunday the lane only got tougher, but we all lived to fight it another day

Tough day making minimal progress, wide tyres, lots of time and 400ft of winch line are the prerequisites up there

We're gonna have to let it dry out substantially before we can consider driving the bastard

No I understood completely, sounds like you lot had fun up there :) How was it when it started snowing?

If it makes you lot feel any better I did end up bending my radio arial 90 degrees somehow :rolleyes:
 
It was ****e when it started snowing, same ****e without the snow plus colder and wetter

I have spent more unpleasant hours on that lane than I care to remember!
 
We were heading back along the A5 when the snow came in. Turned bleak pretty quick.

Welcome to try it rik, it's defo a NORT lane, maybe your 8274 will do the ploughing ok, but johns motor was just digging itself in tyres too skinny

Wise decision is to let the lane dry out!

i have to agree with you there sam. i,ll go up and try digging a few more drainage channels over the next few months to try and steer the water away.
