Hi

After reading all about EAS etc I've taken the plung and bought a P38 - always wanted a Rangie (going to be used for hi days and holidays only)

95 4.6HSE with New Engine 8k ago and new alternator

So obviously got a few issues (was very cheap) and nead a heads up (or at least a pointer to the right posts)

Headlining - sagging at back - best to replace I hear rather than repair

Keys - 2 keys (only 1 working - intermittently but low batt light on dash so probably just that - any ideas on the 2nd key - will unlock but that's all)

EAS (naturally) was playing up (would raise up but not adjust) and so replaced valves with a set that can be adjusted via airpump - a thorough check needed on system I think - it's at normal ride height at present and seems ok

thanks in advance for the advice for a newbie :)

2nd key FOB probably just need a re-sync. EAS will not adjust with a door open or if the engine is not running.

Thanks Datatek - I'll have a search for the re-sync on here

Could the fact that the drivers window not shutting completely (comes off runner when going back up) have anything to do with the EAS not setting properly as I've heard about the door and wondered if that's a connecting part (over complicated electronics and all that)

For the FOB re-sync read your owners manual as the procedure varies according to year.
The window does not affect the EAS. You need diagnostics.
