Snigger, I's having HID lights on the front plus my 150w daylighters

There'll be a convoy light fitted if the axles ready on time! If not it'll just be a standard axle :( but I should be picking up the new single phase tig/mig on tuesday :D

And I would be sorting it but I cant get my pinion til monday :p then I has to sort out getting it into the gearbox!

Once thats in I'll blitz it on my next day off ;)

I prefer the old battered look :)

But if you're going for satin black I have a 5l tub of vehicle paint you can have for nothing, if it's any good for you? I only used a little bit of it!

I do quite like the battered look but can't help feeling that the stealth look would be better

And i may take you up on that offer ;) have you made a start on your series yet?

Ronsealdeath, nice tip about squeezing the wheel cylinders in when bleeding the brakes.
Only problem I had I managed to break the post on the brake shoe as I got carried away with the ratchet strap but got over that problem and I now have a nice firm pedal.

Hello. :) small update.

Front axle is now fully stripped, ground back, and wire brushed to buggerery. So is now completely ready for the new HD diff pan and all the new spring mounts and bump stops to be welded on........... Well once I've got the old axle out so i can put this one under to set up the castor angle :p

Whilst on the subject of the front axle both swivel housings are currently at work. One has been machined slightly to accommodate something im making to relocate the track rod. Other one will be machined next week. Pics of this to follow. ;)

I've also made a start on the rear axle. Some of the mounts were about as thin as tissue paper so came of nice and easily. Once this ones has the same treatment as the front i will get everything lined up and welded up on the bench as there's no need to worry about castor angles etc :)

Once welded up i will get on paint them both. Then comes the fun part of stripping and rebuilding the diffs and then i can finally start putting the axles together and think about putting them underneath the series :D:D

Finally an update. :)

Been so busy with work and other things i haven't had time to do anything to the series :(

Anyways a very nice courier man dropped off a very nice box with lots of goodies in this morning :D

Headlights are shot. One nearly fell out the other week whilst sorting a loose wire so thought an upgrade was in order so have decided to fit crystal halegon headlights. Also decided it was a good idea to replace the sidelights and indicators. Few pics :)

Mucho betterer :D

Also been having a problem with loosing fluid from the clutch. Found the problem to be a fractured flexi hose so got shot of the old and fitted a nice new braided one in place.

And then last but not least i thought I'd get the paint out!:eek::D

Not 100% sure i like it at the minute but i shall carry on painting it black regardless :D:eek:
