you can beat bfg's very easily. try kumho's they are better than bfg's and half the fookin price. the only reason folk always reccomend bfg is because that is all they have tried. granted they are a good tyre but they are not that good

Another vote for Kumhos-I got a pair £180 fitted 12 months since-hardly any wear on them yet. Forget the Greenway I had a pair on the back they wore down quick.

They're my road tyres I have some 34 inch silly wide tyres for competing but they will get replaced with some 37 inch fedima s when I can get a set Of carcasses to Portugal probably the same as Spyderman.

Jai, I think I saw some Fedima 9.00s on ebay recently if that is of any use to you! There are also a few people advertising 35 10.5 r15 fedimas again, it would appear that a container has finally made it to this country :D

edit: these are the jobbies

im trying to find a video clip i have somewhere of my 90 and caravan, i run 33/12.50/15 kumho kl71's i pulled on to a piece of grass to turn round thinking it was hard and she dropped in up to its axles caravan included but these tyres just kept plugging away and got back out, at a guess ive done 30,000 miles on these over 2years highly recommended tyres tbh

My mates mate run his 90 on copper stt. He said it puts mud Up the 90 and he done a 500 mile trip on them once on the road and said they were really good

I've got bfg muds on my 110 they were on it when I got it and the bloke reckoned they'd done at least 20k. I've done 10k on them and I reckon there's at least another 10-15k in them before they're shot, even more till they're actually illegal. I'd be interested to hear what kind of mileage people are getting from kumho etc.

I had coopers mud tyre then fitted the BGF MT's got about 5k ish our of the coopers and ive done 15k ish on the BFG and they are still going strong should eaisly hit over 20k thets good for a mud tyres i think thats what you pay for !!

I've had bf MUDs km and I now have nexen mud terrains and the Bf's ware really well as for nexens only done 200 mile if they don't last as long it Dunt matter as the set cost me £440 ( I've have 235/85/16) don't think there is any diffrence in noise, and both are good on the mud, I think tyre pressure plays a massive part on the off road performance as well as on road.
