I'm cool to go wherever, just not that keen on salt water bits, I'm a bit anal about the salt+land rover = rusty combo mix.

I have my old genuine silver grill, as seen in my pics you can have Mike, it's even still got the LR badge attached, all you would need to do is either buy some Brunai silver surrounds or spray your old ones.

Started to replace all the serpentine belt tensioners, dampened crank pulley, thermostat, oil seal and belt today, should be finished tomorrow, and then a couple of panhard rod bushes to change, check the wheel bearings and I'm done. Well, just leaving me some time to design and make better storage even though this trip I'm going to take a lot less things.

Ok I have done nothing to the car due to work and Rachel now has her exams exactly when we were going away. So its likely I'll be solo, just need to check with her thats all ok.

When I say nothing to the car, I mean except the transfer box, timing belt, some of the hoses, sound proof (rear axel still noisy). I have all the lights and electrics hanging around the house, but it does need all new suspension (which will be standard with gas armstrong shocks) as whats on it is probably as old as the car itself. Oh I did spray the checker plate black on the front. I have to do the breaks and bearings as well. I have no idea how I'm going to find the time as I'm out of the UK for 4 out of the 10 weeks available.

Oh and the Disco was sold a few weeks ago.

Gawd!

Steph my wife is still coming down to Marrakesh and flying back the day after, you are welcome to bring your 90 up to my barn one weekend and we can do the suspension etc, get all that done over a weekend.

Tucked up in the corner of the barn for 10 weeks - seems a shame to get it out for an mot tomorrow. (ignore the date in the picture - still haven't found out how to delete it)

The reserve 110 is waiting for a transfer box to be fitted and the 90 is half way through welding up the chassis.
