You want an honest opinion, and I'm not having a go in any way, this is just my feedback from folks I know.

Its perceived as something being organised in private, by a group of people who for the most part already know each other. Kind of a private party for the regulars in certain sections.

Don't know how you will change that, well I might do, but its nowt to do with me :D:D

Yeah but the only way of getting to know people is to join in ...come on, a 'noob' in a Freelander crashing the private party? You gotta admire my bottle right!? :D

Maybe that is an issue for some people, certainly not for me, Im not the shy retiring type :eek:
I would love to come to the do, it sounds like a hoot, and lots of effort seems to have gone into it.
Unfortunately its about an 800 mile return trip from here, so two days on the road in the landy, plus three days at the do, and I would have to leave for Devon County show a few days after coming back. Also quite dear on fuel. It would be easier for me if it was later in the year, after show season, calving silaging etc., my free time comes in the late summer and autumn.
Not a complaint btw, I know its not possible to please everyone.

I am trying my best to switch weekends and sort out the funds to do this but not having much luck at the mo. As from the threads about peeps saying yes then not getting involved just say yes or no. if i can't make it i will be making sure i will put money into this site. As the info i have gained has saved me loads of notes. So only fair either go or donate and support a great community. It's just a shame to many peeps are to busy doing life not living life and grabbing a great op. like this to make friends put names and faces together and finally find out how short "PIKEY" really is.

You're more than :welcome: As is everyone whether you're an old hand or a noob.

The party is a chance for everyone to get together, meet and celebrate LZ no matter what they drive or why they log on.

For me the measure of success will be how many people I don't know when I arrive......and how many more I do when I leave :tea:

I am :pound::pound::pound:

Shame you cant go though :(

If I do go, you are one of the folks I would like to have met :D

Tis a shame :( Good livestock towing chat would be nice :)
Maybe another time. I would go if yu can, cant be too far from you, 300 return at a guess?

Think a Freelander would provide more entertainment :D:D Although you probably dont need to remove the roof when the doors fall off :cool::cool::cool: Would make a good campfire afterward too :D
