Great weekend, thanks everyone! Sorry we had to head off early on the Saturday - family drama ongoing in Coventry...

Even better than last year! Thank you to the organisers who put in so much time and effort to ensure it all went well. The food stall and bar were just what was wanted, laning brilliant, if surprisingly slippery, and best of all was meeting so many new faces and blasts from the past. James Martin appearing set off a buzz like rumours at a gig that some surprise guest star was appearing (sorry James), and every vehicle that went out on the lanes seemed to reappear mostly intact.

I missed the ones who might have been there but couldn't be, for reasons beyond their control. @blue beasty , @Silverlandy , @lcbandit , @Turboman . Next year!
You couldn't have been in my group thenThank you to the organisers. We had a brilliant weekend, it was our first time taking the Disco out and we felt in very safe hands with all the lovely, experienced and helpful people around us. Looking forward to next year already
Thanks to everyone in group 5 who made the Laning trip such good fun. Well done to the hippos who managed the river crossing with the doors still attached.
The smiles afterwards were so big that they wouldn't fit on my camera.
Best start on the routes for next year as I've got a feeling there's gonna be a few more than this year.

A superb weekend. Our first and very enjoyable! Thanks to Funkykipper (group 5) for the excellent leading....no map reading-Just did it! and thanks for the gate openers/closers- we were lucky enough to be in 2nd spot so no work for us!
Thanks to all the organisers...it all went very well!
No Disco damage in 6 hrs laning but cracked windscreen on way home!!

Thanks everyone in group 5! Might tactically avoid gate monkey duties next year though...
Have to say thanks ....
The A-bar from a Discovery I picked up free from LZ12, I believe it was from @Lakes Rob and @110woman ... Many thanks, it's fitted a treat after a bit of a hacksaw, fettling the plates for it, welding and a lick of paint ..
Have to take the winch apart to get it out now, but I'm looking on that as a planned in security feature ...
