Email sent.

With luck it has a file attached.

It may even be the right file

hope you find a place somewhere, i need a date to book off work so hurry up already!

I've put you in Over Peeover, tha'ts more easterly and south of Manchester... ;)

Ta. Went for the humourous name? close enough though.

(p.s. Gemsdad dunt live slap bang in the centre of Manchester, he's more westerly on the outside of the M60;))

It's a slightly amusing name...

I'll alter it to your street name if you want! :p

Looking at the distribution from the poll, the midlands somewhere looks more practical than coming up this way though (if nowhere has been sorted yet.)

I have contacted Buildwas in shropshire today.

No answer on the mobile number, i left a message.

I also sent an email which they promise to rely to within 24 hours.

Standby for more details.

Oh, it is an off road site. 50 acres, has hardstanding and camping facilities with electric hook up and showers, toilets etc. Its in the heart of shropshire. There is an abundance of lanes in the area, some real crackers as well.

Oh and there is a few b and b's and a premier bin not too far away for those who are allergic to tents. :D

Welcome to Buildwas Leisure - 4x4 Off Road Centre in Ironbridge, Shropshire

Sounds ideal :)

Sounds ideal :)

too be honest i think it is.

Its central and 5 minutes from the motorway with arguably one of the most understated counties for laning in the uk.

The only downside i think would be the size of the site, its not as big as places like park wood or frickly. But I'm led to believe it has everything for all and it has some difficult places for people to get stuck in!

My feeling is that what will be a major factor is the size of available space for camping/social/activities other than off-roading so long as the course is half decent as it's only one factor that will encourage folk to come along

Not much in the way of hotels nearby, travel lodge and premier seem to be 8 to 10 miles

Apart from that its a good location

Suppose it depends who the event is for

True, i get bored at pay and play. There is good laning nearby weather permitting. Im not working now until the new year so i will see if i can go up to the site and see the camping if they are interested in having us stay over :D

I googled "hotels near much wedlock" the nearest town and got 2 b&b's, a hotel and a holiday cottage.

Plus the premier bin you described. And there is a novotel at the telford international centre I've stayed in a few times, that has more than enough rooms and isn't too far away.

If your not going to be part of the proper anniversary group your going to have to compromise on accommodation i think :p :D

LOL, I suppose if its just for the usual lot who do laning trips and such then camping will be important.

I was thinking this was meant for a wider audience though :p:p:p

And not everyone likes off roading and camping, its not obligatory if you own a Landy :D:D:D:D

Laning is good though :D:D:D:D

It's not the camping that's important but the area in which we can all get together.......which, without getting very expensive, is likely to be a camping site

Yes agreed, i think its important we all have a big gathering area.

On a side note, i have 2 marquee's i can bring. Think one is 60x20 the other 40x20.

Let me know if there needed. Could ask a mate if i can borrow his hog roaster too if thats something everyone would want? Between us all a pig wouldn't be too expensive.
