Me and roy have been chatting to one of the organisers of http://www.bristolandwestlandrovershow.com/index.html His name is Mark Pattenden and he is a member on Landyzone as Discovery2man and he should now have a nice shiny orange username.

If you have a look on the website you will notice that the show isn't the normal commercialised show, it's for charity BLESMA

Basically Mark likes to set himself a bit of a challenge, and for this show he wants to have the record for largest Land rover gathering in one place. The Blesma challenge is to get more than 1000 Land Rovers into the shape of a Land rover for the record.

We are planning to have a club stand at the the show, and from speaking to Mark it sounds like it could be a very good weekend!.

So the question is, who is interested in having a LandyZone club stand? On the forms it says 8 vehicles per club, but Mark says that if we can raise more, he will find a way to accomodate us.
So have a look at the website, see what you think and Vote in the poll.

Out of curiosity, have you taken into account the fact that most series and early defenders have white roofs when you ask peeps what colour landy they have? Same goes for rooftents and chequer plate. My old V8 110 was green and is still on google maps but looks white due to the roof colour and silver chequerplate on the wings and bonnet.

Can you add me to the list fri sat and sun with Connor.... I best bring the boy so we has some sensible person around
I wouldn't mindbetting Connor and Kai will take one look at us old ****ers and **** off to the furthest corner of the showground! After mugging us for cash of course....

Which is why a small tracker will be sewn into his leg!

Attaching him to a kinetic rope would be more entertaining.;):D

Maybe sewing a small tractor into his leg may stop them wandering too far:D:D

Conner, Kai and Arro......LZ mini-mob  They'll cause havoc......I'm almost jealous :D;)

JUst a reminder to peeps who are too lazy to read the previous Posts. THIS LIST is only for those helping out on the LZ Stand. Whilst every fooker is welcome to join us for beer and the Craic, DO NOT add ya name to the list unless you're going to be spending most of the weekend on the stand

Well I was going to be coming up for the weekend but unfortunately I'm rostered to work the Sunday and can't book it off - we're short staffed that week due to holidays so looks like I'll be up on the Saturday only :censored:

Besides, you have more than enough capable bullsh**ters to man the stand for the weekend without me adding to it :p :p :p :D :D

Yes I did think of the the white roof issue and they will form the roof section of the Landy on the ground first then if there's more of them they may be windows or wheels so that's sorted Paul and Roy forms revived thanks

If anyone is struggling I can print them off and mail them out. It may seem a bit long winded but will be worth it in the long run:)

Being lazy is this for the challenge or to man the stand? saw the guy about my conversion and he is taking forever, I'm considering using someone else.
