Hi all, just bought a 1990 3.5 v8 90, my first land rover, I've always wanted one and at 38 i thought it was now or never. Apart from the hole that's just been blown in the rusted exhaust headers (anyone got anything that will fit?) it seems pretty sweet, apart from the wiring, the diff oil leak, steering box leak, doors etc etc...

well its a true landy if your wet and slip on oil on your drive welcome.Try a search mate saves you being ripped appart;)

not sure i get you, being ripped apart..? what for? joining a forum and saying hello? maybe the subtlety of the etc etc escaped some, of course they are "normal" faults on a defender. I hope your attitude isn't indicative of all the members on this forum, if simply saying hello and asking if anyone has some exhaust bits is some sort of faux pas on this forum than perhaps its not for me.

still not sure i get you, there's a thread right, and its called something like " new members say hello", You know, I'd just joined and I saw the link and, on a whim like, I just "well, what the heck!" and I did it, I said hello, you know, cause I was a new member. You know the rest....What is this searching business? search for a post from me, a new member saying "hello"?

welcome to loony zone it is meds time for the inmates

Chill and go with the flow dude, give it a chance and get an idea how it all works.
Expect useful advice and ****take in equal quantities.
There's a 'system' here somewhere, you'll never see it but it exists ;)

Oh dear if your getting offended at somebody trying to help then yes, perhaps this forum isn't for you.

You need a sence of humour and a thick skin to be here, if you have that then welcome, if not, then thanks for looking

anyways back to my 3.5 carb v8 90, anyone got any headers? just need nearside if its standard and cheap, or something better if its both, apparently i'm not yet qualified to post wanteds..

once the exhaust is fixed, it sounds like a tank at the moment, which brings me back to my earlier post.....anyone got a standard nearside exhaust header for a 3.5 twin carb or an uprated pair for sale?
