still not sure i get you, there's a thread right, and its called something like " new members say hello", You know, I'd just joined and I saw the link and, on a whim like, I just "well, what the heck!" and I did it, I said hello, you know, cause I was a new member. You know the rest....What is this searching business? search for a post from me, a new member saying "hello"?

Oh dear

Try not to take yourself too serious like

"search" is about using the search box to search for stuff - see it's easy when you think about it

Nope, you're obviously a complete genius at this, thats clear from the fact that you can't find the wanted section.

Tried to tell you which search box to use, its a common mistake to use the google one as its placed better, imho, than the lz one...but you give it the big i am about sucking eggs...

Good luck, you have no idea how helpful this forum is yet. Don't be an arse.

I understand the point you make about noobies not being able to see the Wanted section, but it doesn't take long to rack up enough posts, particularly if you get off on the wrong foot.:fencing:

The advice you were given about searching was merely friendly advice, that if in the highly unlikely event that your new Land rover develops a fault:D, please consider using the "search" function before asking a question which may have been asked many times before. Newcomers to LZ have sometimes failed to heed this advice, and have been ripped apart by the knuckle draggers in Anything Goes.

Should you be in any doubt as to the good intentions behind that advice, just post a request in Anything Goes about what size tyres best suit your V8 90.

Oh, and tell them Boomer sent you.;)

i guess i didn't account for the assumption that a newbie to this forum must be a newbie, all good banter, points racked up, i can now post wanteds, but i'll wait for sible88 to come back to me since he got there first. Cheers for the "friendly" advice chaps. Already saved myself hours of figuring **** out on here, like the KTMForum (KTM DUKE 640, 71bhp, with a blown piston, where's my Wossner posty?) its full of great how to's and info you just cant find anywhere else.

Beatfreak come to pick up exhaust yesterday, was a nice guy with a tidy looking landy.
Let us know what's its like when fitted.
