He clearly dun't know why they lift higher to go oft road, and even higher thereafter. Telling peeps to drive it like that for a long time is against what LR use that mode for, and how they teach you to use it.

i thought u would like that , have u stopped laughing yet , he obviously ignored the continued warning that comes up on the dashboard with it being in extended mode

Thing is yer have to be careful what yer tell peeps on the web else some daft D3 owner will one along and think it's ok to copy. Yer could be damaging what they thought was a good vehicle.

I now appreciate why not many D3 owners take their vehicle oft road. Having to raise the suspension with a block of wood is probably disheartening.

the factor of common sense comes to mind , if someone looks at a video and takes it as gospel well more full them

Was prompted ta put up this ere poll to try un find out the truth behind the Discovery. Naturally this poll is fer D1 and D2 only, as D3 and D4 are completely different vehicles, and much betterer, but not as good as a Freelander 1 or 2.
if the free lander was that good ...then why is there a section for freelanders ?
the d1 and d2 are also completely different to the free lander

so please define what is better .....are we talking about on off road use /modifications / common issues /easy to work on/ fuel economy/ towing capacity

I would rather eat pop corn and read this thread ..than watch the mcreggor fight on the comedy show

could at least made it more interesting and add in a landcriuser to the poll

we all know the discovery is an awesome vehicle, freelander isn't in the same league ,

how's that , lol

haven't heard to many good things about land cruisers, oh hang on i own a land rover so i can't talk, ;)

ps, maybe if we ignore everything about freelanders they will go away :D:D

I also don't own a landcriuser but was looking into buying one they seem to hold there value

take away freelanders we can easily remove our recovery points on our discos LOL
