Well got the last boring task done. Rewriting the French legal doct to include all stuff mentioned and agreed upon when they came to look over the land.
Phew!
We will be having 2 hosses ont land which I am very happy about as they don't like being on their own.
So all looking good!
Two large aperitifs into Satdi night. W still flipping around in the poly tunnel watering and talking to her plants I assume. when she comes back in cooking proper can commence!
Have a lovely evening folks!!
:):):)

I note that the met office has issued the UK with a yellow heat wave warning, that it might get as high as 30 degs.
Hmm!!
And peeps expected to die as a result.
This happened in France a few years ago, (although with higher temps) and in subsequent years more care was taken of the vulnerable including explaining to peeps how to keep cool.
It seems common sense is/was not prevailing.
Earlier we were forecasted 5 straight days of heat, that has since been modified to only one day of clear sunshine, so you must be getting what we were supposed to be getting!
Do be careful folks!
:) :) :)

THAY do grow better if you talk to them plus you never have an argument

Afternoon folks, busy day.
Seemed to have left b&q with another apple tree again. Oh well this one is already in the ground ❤️

Hi Newbie not all of us is bizarre and I think the point of the thread has slightly gone over your head a wee bit.
I really hope the assembly instructions for the apple tree are less opaque than B&Q’s standard offering…..

Saw this on the dottir's driveway today, me n 'Er Indoors were visiting for an afternoon barby. Its being driven by the son in law's cousin (works at JLR apparently. I checked the reg number on the Gov.uk website thing, it gives no tech details whatsoever - just the registration date and the fact that it is taxed. Only spotted the "Prototype" badges on it when I was leaving so didn't get an opportunity to ask questions.

As someone new to this whole thing (I just bought my defender today, and even though I've wanted one since I was 8 I've never really been part of the community) this thread is bizarre...

I don't see why we have to fight over landie or rover is best... Defenders are the only true Landie's anyway.
Years ago the filthy tratterers would regularly invade the Freelander section to offer advise like burn it, fit a v8, its rubbish etc. They did so for fun, envious of our beautiful reliable Freelanders. Often a crowd of them would turn up making the place a mess while dragging their nuckles frew the flower beds. We did on occasion have a head gasket or vcu fail. Yer have to bear in mind thems doing this were poking fun at our Freelanders, whilst owning drafty damp biscuit tins on wheels. Never before has a vehicle bin so good that it needs so many mods to make it bearable. So this fred was created in retaliation. It grew from there. For many years eye said tratterers were slagging oft our Freelanders so they would drop in price so they could buy them cheap. Many tratterers did.

Welcome to me fred.

Somefink magical happened earlier. Eye were gerrin me washing oft the line. Ah din't spot the squirrel on me garage apex until coming back oot to fill me burd feeder. Eye stopped by me castle as soon as eye spottid him. Paused then went inside to drop a nut oot the window. He came down and gorrit then climbed the fence to leave. Normally when they see me int garden they're gone int seconds.
