I seem to remember it was made in the 70s, and at the time I was living in the seedier part of W2 much closer to Notting Hill Gate than Hyde Park! And we uised to reckon that they did a lot of the filming round there. The Sweeney was my favourite of the police series when I was young because the others seemed rather insipid by comparison. Softly Softly and its successor, Barlow involved far to much talking for my liking. Z Cars seemed to be preoccupied with trivia. The Sweeney by contrast, generally began with a well-staged bank robbery and the episode unfolded with a good measure of car chases and fist fights, interspersed with snivelling informers uttering 'I don't want no bovver Mr. Regan'. They must have been allowed quite a big budget, because they destroyed a lot of cars, sometimes two or three Mk II Jags per episode. It looks extraordinary now - the fact that the London streets along which they raced were nearly empty and it was possible to get the cars anywhere above walking pace.
I believe the follow up was called "Taskforce" and it appears all of the episodes survive unlike Softly Sofly where loads have disappeared, sadly. Each model that came oot helped lr grow. They needed to sell more to fund development. The big change came when the FL came oot as sales took oft massively. When the big FL came oot in 1970 sales were reasonable but no where near todays figures. Same fer disco. New owners to the brand bring in wider sales options. Same wiv disco, FL, evoque etc.Still think the Disco 1 is one of, if not the best vehicle they ever made.
And is it true or not that at the time it saved LR?
Or is that just an urban myth?

Add one match to the 5 to make a 9.Yes, I can read, but did you look at all the comments? hundreds of.
As someone pointed out, does 1 match make the number "1" or does it have to be 2 matches?
Not answered cos no one knows.
So at least two possible maximum numbers there, for a start!
Don't need to do it, just take the horizontal bottom match from the bottom and place it top right to make the 9,Add one match to the 5 to make a 9.
