Me boiler is norappy. Came home last week to hear it bubbling like a kettle. This indicates the water is boiling inside. Eye checked the pressure. It be ok. Eye checked all me rads. They be air free. It was creating hot water for me taps. Its creating hot water for me rads.???
Me boiler were struggling to pass water through the heat exchanger. The pump is wukking. Eye know that because it can fill all me rads. Said water is clear. It were replaced not many years ago when eye fitted me magnetic filter. Looked in the filter. Water be clear. Not black like before. Rust inhibiter int system doing its job. Small amount of metal particles on the magnet. Removed em.
So we now fink the heat echanger is blocked or partually blocked. Or somefink part of the process is causing the problem. Me boiler sits at 55 degrees C normally. Whennits struggling is boils at 48 on the display. Thats the output temp. Inside will be hotter if there be no flow or reduced flow, cauding the boil. Tis good to givvit an exercise so eye put it up to 80. It pre-heats and gets there. Over rid me set temps in me heating app to gerrit to heat the rads. It did. Gorrum well hot. So that proves me boiler wuks. But there could be a bit of blockage or the variable speed pump is playing up.
When did it see service engineer peep ?

Yup. Had them oot under warranty before. They carry parts wiv em. This time eye be paying 355 sovs ferra fix. Includes 3 major parts in said repair. And any small ones. That dun't cover all items. Needs a service so they upped it the 383 sovs. Did offer me a maintenance package for 370 sovs burreye int interested.

Not ferrabit. They is servicing it at the same time. Talking to their tek peeps we dun't fink a service will fix it or have avoided the problem. Its still wukking now. To reduce risk of boiling/kettling eye has upped the pressure to 1.3 and dropped the temp to 44 degresse C. Still wukkin.

Eye fink we shud congratulate prince arry fer gerrin the nasty press peeps to admit they had done wrong. Unlawful news gathering using fings like fone hacking. Previously it has never been admitted. One rogue reporter must have done it... Turns oot they were riddled wivvit. Like avvin wurms. Looks like he pushed them to admit it as part of a settlement statement. Or face raking through it in court where more detail would come oot. Peeps still in power at the news papers being pinned down as part ovvit, the cover up and lies on oath saying 'eye know nuffink' but not wiv the respect and honesty of manwell.
I'm surprised the Sun editor at the time, who said in court 'not us' just NotW, isn't being done for perjury ...

I would say its the heat exchanger how old is the boiler? As it sounds like its boiling inside it , but there should be a sensor that prevents this so that would also need to be looked at could be part of the problems also a safety issue , very often if a heating system is dirty and not flushed with cleaning liquid and filled with fresh water with the inhibitor, if the inhabitants are added to a dirty system it can cause solidarity of particles and blockages and thay get baked on in the heat exchanger du to the higher temperatures,just my thinking ?

It were fitted in 2016. So half way through its life.
