It would appear that all this sideways blowing has found a problem wivs me windys in me oose ...
Draughts from top corner hinge side, on double glazed unit ... I dunt think it's the seal, I have a replacement one to pop in when the weather eases a bit and I'm not at work / ill in me pit ...
WWW reckons it may be hinges are worn out ... these windows are abit old now, but they are watertight and the glass is sound ...
Any one know how to check, as I know I can't replace on me own we're a three storey house and these buggers are heavy ...

As yer close said window... look frompt inside as it just closes to see if the closing bit closes equal and equal pressure is applied. Yer could have muck or the seal out of place causing it not ter close propper. When closed the gap should be the same all round. Look ter see if hinge side is equal anorl.
