hi buddy

many thks for the heads up, alas I tried several rescue centres and have been told by several members of staff inc the rudest of them all the rspca that I can’t have a dog

Told that , due to being on benefits I can’t afford the upkeep vet bills or food , have grandkids under 5 x years old, living on my own is high risk in case I have an accident or fall the dog can be in harms way and without supervision , the list went on so basically gave up after the sheer outrageous rudeness

with candy now being 17 and doing well I of course understand she won’t be here for ever and can’t even begin to imagine life without her , seeing it’s just been her and I for the last 10 x years ive never been so close to a pet as I have with her , know it will break my heart when she goes

at the time was looking for a dog this time not a bitch , a jack russell, , etc , something a bit smaller than a lab , Usero see a lot of cocker spaniels at work and indeed are gorgeous dogs and would adore one but expensive ame to be honest I’ve started to look at breeders

did explain to rescue centres I’ve got my own vehicle to take a dog to a wooded area that has rivers, streams , etc , well away from roads, vet care cover, neighbours that have my door key in case of emergencies, along with 3 x extra bags of 15 kg eukanuba so not cheap supermarket rubbish , ie , if I had to go into hospital , plus been around dogs for 55 x years , owner of dogs for 40 x years , private fenced in 40 foot square garden , home virtually 24/7 , all that was ignored and simply insulted again and again

Indeed would adore another pup but alas it seems there not interested rehoming to someone who's on disability benefits who can offer them a secure loving home

hope ur good mate along with of course ur dog
I do remember you telling us this before. so sad. Are they the same if you want to foster a dog?
W says try the smaller dog charities, they might not be so fussy, but this does seem hugely discriminatory.
This is the article about Spaniel Aid UK who have to put dogs out for fostering as they have no base or whatever to keep them in. They sound desperate for fosterers.
And TBH I'd start telling a few pork pies. Why mention the grandkids for instance?
(I'll get caned for this of course.)
But the fact you own a 17 year old dog should prove something, well to people with a brain.
Best of luck with it all mate.

Can you not just let it roll down from the top lol hope you get it sorted. ;)
I suppose I could, all out of control and stuff, but how'd I get it back up again?
Anyway, it is all done now just got to clean the underside of the top engine cover and then test it.
No swearing involved, just a bit of consultation of the exploded diaphragm, which was pointless.
Only undid one bolt I didn't need to!
And the hub came out without a hub puller, just hand force to pull it while tapping all round it wiv an ammer!
But it DID take a while to clean off the bottom of the deck. In fact probably about 1/3 of the total time.
At least I now know how to do it next time.
So now celebrating wiv a little Leffe. (only 33 cc!)
:) :) :) :) :)

Feel much better today, I can say that since last week that was the sickest ive ever been, the chemo kicked in & I think being hit with a train you would feel better. 🤮🤢🤢🤮
Well sorry obvs that you have been feeling very poop.
But at least it is all in a good cause.
You can see the light at the end of the tunnel now I hope!
All the very best with it mate!!:):):)

Messed about with some tubes today to see what the back-end tube arrangement will look like.
I am not too-sure the pieces at 45° will clear the chain that runs between the output from the IGH and the input to the 2WD unit.
I think I will stick with this arrangement and then mount the IGH on a frame under the diagonal tubes.
I think it will be OK and this triangular shape will provide a good platform for mounting things.

I had to stop because I am having a "painful" day today, and I don't know why. :(
