Here is the plan...put another shutter inside the one thats there, & do a 300mm wide 300mm deep
pour all round for the main walls then back fill the middle with hardcore up to 100mm from the top
apart from the righthand side as this will be a very thin skim cause once its been inspected I'll dig
it up & put a pit in.

She's been trying for years, I did live in Spain when I was a lad I always thought id get a wee place
somewhere warmer. A bit of land would do me tbh id just stick a caravan on it then build a garage

Believe it or not, and I had trouble beleevin it, I asked about that and the plannin there do not like peeps trying to build a place that is "off grid".sounds crazy i know. Seems it's a national thing, they don't want peeps buying a bit of a forest cutting a clearing in it and then building in it. Their attitude is that it isn't green enough. Other peeps think I ought to be able to get EDF to do their thing but it would be a battle and I think planning might try to get in the way. I might just get EDF to come out and look at it, then give me a price or they'd have to have a good reason for not doing it.
Still it's nice not having neighbours one side.
