G'mornin volks. A few jobs to do followed by coffee with friends (need the coffee after last night, feeling a tad jaded), then probably watch Her Majesty being blown "gone away". She was a constant throughout my life and (republican or monarchist) she set a standard which will be hard to follow. I'm a man of no faith but (if I'm wrong) I hope that she is enjoying the rest and pleasure she deserves.

Right am away on a wee walk.
I have a Nespresso one in both kitchen & bedroom.
Sadly no, we only have a kettle. There are kettles available for the disabled that are fixed and rotate on an axis that we will have to get if things don't improve beyond where I am currently.

Going to stick some crud-buster in the CH system today, let it run for a week and then drain it all down next Sunday.
Radiators all off and powerflushed then new TRV's on the Monday & Tuesday.
Well, that's the plan, anyway.

No, they are way too
There's only us 2 and a big house with only occasional guests staying, so setting 2/3 rooms down low and the rest automatically shutting off when the wood-burner is running seemed ideal.
I have discovered that a gale blows up the unused chimney in the front guest bedroom, so that's getting a woollen felt "bung" to let the chimney "breathe" just a little.
