You are right of course, that is what usually happens. But we use it so rarely I cannot really justify it and to buy another the same now would prolly cost a lot more than this one did. I just checked. Yep, mine cost €150, now all at least €130 more.

Mine was 200 sovs in fact you've just reminded me, I know where theres one brand new in the box
sitting in my mates barn he doesnt want it.

So you're 200 sovs down then.:(
Don't your mate even want to flog it? In a few months time he'll be able to flog it loads of times over I expect.
Last time there were a lot of powercuts in Frogland quite few peeps died from using gennys indoors. Tw@ts.

Na I dont look at it like that, its a useful bit of kit to have. The last time I used it we were chopping up
metal railings it powered a 9" & 4" grinders at the same time. The do draw alot of juice.

Well you can....... let the CO kill em off!!!
Trouble is not all stupid would do it. You need other ways for that cull!:D:D:D

Big decision to make.
Do we bring the genny back or not? Tis a big heavy thing and it'll take up space in the Disco we'd rather use for other stuff.
Just googled, "are we going to have power cuts or not this winter?"
Govt says no, power companies say mebbe.
Fat lot of good that was!
But the consensus seems to be, yes, we'll get blackouts.
So i daresay we'll be taking it.:(

Genny'll be good for keeping the freezer and fridge ticking over, so that's not a waste ...
