I clicked on it and started reading it to Wifey, who fell about.
I never realised for a while how long this was going to be, but stopped once dinner was ready and that took half an hour.
Bloody hilarious.

Sainsberrys was rubbish this week. Not many offers. They din't have any of me favourite juice anorl. Bin like this for 3 weeks. They has also reduced the shelf space ferrit which is a concern. Monday be choppin day so eye sneaked in to nite and found some. They wunt eggsoecting that. Gottid 6 bottles. Still no unyun rings in bread crums. They gottid batturd ones for the first time in many weeks so hopefully bread crum ones will be back soon.

A farmer friend of mine from school had a mate come to stay, who got the braking wrong and skidded the tractor into another piece of machinery!

I even remember one that was in my prep school's store cupboard.
The science teacher had asked a previous class to come up with novel ways of making a set of scales or something to measure weight with. He was very proud of it!
A kid called Baldree used string and a small thing like a tin lid secured to the end of a foot ruler. So, like one end of a jewellers balance.
The idea was you put something in the lid then moved the ruler along the edge of a table until the weight of the rest of the ruler meant it just balanced. The markings on the ruler corresponded in some way to the weight, and the whole contraption was known as "Baldree's balance"!
And I haven't thought about that since about 1967!
We did Nuffield science and I loved it.
Wish the rest of my science lessons in my next school had been as good!
