Tell me what do you put your jack on when you jack a landy up on your gravel?
I use old kitchen worktop, the laminate stuff, or I scrape all the gravel off the surface of the scalpings so it has summat serious to grab hold of.
All this working out doors is such a pain in the ass.
Even with my first house with it's single Marley garage I wasn't really aware of how lucky I was that my car actually fit into a garage. Concrete floors, painted with decent garage floor paint seems like such a luxury now. I had three houses with garages and then this one with a double garage, which is fine for ornery cars but I never knew I was going to get into Landies.
So I am either doing this cr@p outdoors or I am in a heated double working on a kit car. Wish I knew someone who actually did have a building I could borrow! Every time I do they do stupid stuff like get divorced and lose the building or fill it with stuff important to their business like stone cutting machinery!
I asked one today how much it costs to rent one round here.
