That car transporter ship wot is ablaze in the atlantic, apparently it is the batteries in leccy cars which have caught fire. Or the fire has spread to the batteries . I think I know which. Reported as a cargo of 1000 Porches, 200 Bentleys, and an unknown number of Audis. So that was a bit of environmental friendliness eh?

What numbers do you see...........

Funnily enough I was looking at looms yesterday, ive have a few looms stripped over the years, I find
that you need time & space with no-one bothering you as soon as you get distracted thats it fkd & you
loose your place, then the misses wants somit done
Totally agree. some build a huge pegboard like they use at Autosparks so you can wind bits of wire around the pegs, pegged out at the right distance. I use huge amounts of masking tape, writing notes on bits of it as I go and attaching them to the bits of wire.
And funnily wimmins have a reputation for being able to do looms, as they do for doing carpets, trim and reupholstering seats, in the Kit Car world. (Not my missus, she couldn't be feckin bovvad, even though she knits for England.):(

Aye its kinda chunky think ive put down about 100 tonnes of it to bring it to a decent level. o_O
So over 50 cubic metres then, that's a heck of a lot.
We've put down a lot over the years, it's big enough to not feck off with scalpings underneath, but yet still we get bare patches. Enough room for 8 cars to park on.
Never get where it goes to!
The one in France is bigger but less useable for everyday. And the sh!ts who supposedly laid it while we weren't there did a cr@p job. No depth to the gravel at all, so we have loads of weeds growing through it as well as a spring in one corner which we continue to not be able to do anything about. As soon as we successfully drain it to somewhere it pops up again elsewhere.
But I have to admit I don't think I could kneel on yours for 5 seconds!

........well!
I was asked what I wanted for my buthday by dottir.
"A book token" quoth I.
She gives me a Waterstones gift card.
Hmm!
I am searching for basic books on auto electronics to fill in this huge gap in my knowledge.
Not having much luck there.

I will have to persevere among all the ones at £100 plus and "no longer available"s.
Must go and cook dins.
Have a nice Satdi night everyone!
:):):):)

Tell me what do you put your jack on when you jack a landy up on your gravel?
I use old kitchen worktop, the laminate stuff, or I scrape all the gravel off the surface of the scalpings so it has summat serious to grab hold of.
All this working out doors is such a pain in the ass. :(
Even with my first house with it's single Marley garage I wasn't really aware of how lucky I was that my car actually fit into a garage. Concrete floors, painted with decent garage floor paint seems like such a luxury now. I had three houses with garages and then this one with a double garage, which is fine for ornery cars but I never knew I was going to get into Landies.
So I am either doing this cr@p outdoors or I am in a heated double working on a kit car. Wish I knew someone who actually did have a building I could borrow! Every time I do they do stupid stuff like get divorced and lose the building or fill it with stuff important to their business like stone cutting machinery!
I asked one today how much it costs to rent one round here.
Feck, my teeth fell out..............and they ain't false!!!!:(:(:(:eek::eek::eek:
